Kész was working on his CDX when he developed cancer.  He fought it for two months, but ultimately lost his battle. 

I could write about Kész’s accomplishments, wins, titles, but that was not what he was.  What he was – was my best friend, always there with me, always willing to do anything as long as he could go, too. 

Kész left us way too early, we only had 8 years together.  We had so much more to do, so many adventures left to have, but it was not to be.  My precious boy is gone, along with him went my heart.

Kész and I did Conformation together.  He was my buddy, too.  He was incredibly smart.  He noticed small details and deduced what was going on and what would happen next.  And he was a good sport -- the photo shows him in a parade as a Rasta Puli at the last Woofstock show he went to in Vallejo, California.  We have not gotten over losing him, but we treasure every memory of the time we spent with him.
